Macro Flower Photography Tip #1 – Think of a rain shower as a photo opportunity.
I know it sounds counterintuitive to think of rain as a photo opportunity, but you might be surprised what you capture if you dare to venture out. I took the images below one evening when the rain slowed down to a light mist. Luckily for me, my Olympus camera and macro lens are “splash proof”, meaning they can get slightly wet during a shower. I recommend that you wait until the rain has completely stopped if you’re unsure about your camera’s weatherproof capabilities. But, do venture out and see what you can get. I think you will be amazed.
